Chittaprosad’s art is an insight into the artist as a political activist documenting the lives of farmers, the destitute, labourers, and the working class. While many of the artist’s linocuts, especially when intended for children, have a sense of lyricism and poetry, Chittaprosad used compositional strategy and treatment for his urban themes, as reflected in this Untitled work, which shows three factory workers toiling with tongs in front of a furnace.
