K. S. Kulkarni owned the thick line like no other modernist, and when combined with his cubist-inspired elements, created a unique, individual vocabulary. In this Untitled work, a fish or a dragon seems to be on a rendezvous with three humans and a serpent-like creature peeping from behind the central figure. A prominent passion flower next to the figure in green, and the serpent, lend an element of sexuality and fertility to the work, which may be in reference to the figures in blue and green; meanwhile, the red figure looks away.
