Resembling an almanac, or an astrological chart, Jagmohan Chopra’s viscosity print, Forms Within and Without, apportions spaces for cosmic movements, their relationship with each other and with time, to create a horological handbook that could have its basis in science or in faith. A printmaker-extraordinaire who also accepted fast-developing changes in the medium, Chopra’s ability to make us look at things from differing perspectives is indicated in Forms Within & Without which might just as easily be a peep into people’s homes.
