Jagmohan Chopra’s art was guided by technique, tone and texture, all of them coming together to become the guiding spirit for the artist. Primarily a printmaker, Chopra’s art, such as this Untitled watercolour, stands out for its composition and the synergy that we see through the artist’s bold brushstrokes, lines, and the measured use of the colour scheme that he uses. Much like his prints, this work, too, captures the journey of texture and colour on paper, exploring forms and how they all correspond together.
