Seen here is director Satyajit Ray on the sets of his film Ghare Baire, in Bardhaman district, West Bengal. The film was released a year later, in 1984, and was based upon Rabindranath Tagore's novel Ghare Baire. Interestingly, Ray had written the script of this film much before Pather Panchali but chose to rework it later. Though it was both, commercially and critically well received by the audiences, the making of the film was challenging given Ray’s poor health—he suffered two heart attacks.
