Sakti Burman, one of India’s leading modernists who, through his art, helped put the country on the global art map, was influenced by many Western artists, His exposure to the artistic movements taking place in the West through his travels to Europe and other destinations allowed Burman to closely view the works of the masters. He creates in this Untitled abstract landscape, an artistic vision that’s deeply personal and profound, drawing from various influences and assimilating on the canvas through his own unique thought process.
