Though Moti Zharotia chose an academic career for himself, he never left art, and created some fascinating works through a process of pure willpower and a resilient attitude to find himself through his art. He worked late nights or over weekends, continuing to refine the colour palette, honing his artistic skills continuously. Over time, his figures had an ease about them, as witnessed in Guard where a figure seems to, well, guard the premises of what curiously resembles the gates of Buckingham Palace.
