The flat colour application, which Paramjeet Singh experimented with in his serigraphs, gave a fascinating depth to his art. His landscapes spoke of a happy place, of a place where a sense of calm resonated in a spatial treatment that evoked a zen state of mind. Singh’s serigraphs—it was ace printmaker Jagmohan Chopra who encouraged Singh to work in this medium—have been increasingly seen in the homes of collectors. His landscapes, particularly, reveal his excellence in the medium as evident in the Calmness ofNature.
