The beady eyes of the figure in Bust II look straight at us, urging us to pursue the mystery, the enigma of the subject that Dhruva Mistry creates. Mistry’s art initiates an enquiry that begins as a process from his own consciousness, transporting quickly—and eventually—into our own lives. The journey of the Bust II, from a solitary dialogue between the artist and his creation, thus, gets imbued in our journeys, our conversations. Mistry’s modernistic sculptures can be viewed in places such as London, Glasgow, Birmingham, Cardiff, among several others.
