Emerging from a fantastical trope, this painting has an element of erotica woven into it, with bulging breasts and a hint of nude figures strategically placed. P. Khemraj’s art was born from a confluence of Western and Eastern art in a language that he made his own. This work celebrates the strength of the artist’s line, his command on its precision, some of them expressed as violin strings, an ode to the instrument that he enjoyed playing.
