D. C. Joglekar studied at Sir J. J. School of Art, Bombay, between 1912 and 1917, and as a student received several scholarships from the British government, Lord Mayo, and the Rao of Kutch. His watercolour works created a rich harmony of colour, form, and the chosen subject. He was a master artist, especially when it came to creating art that highlighted some of the hidden architectural gems such as the one depicted in this Untitled watercolour.
