L. N. Taskar’s art is focussed on turning ordinary moments of life into something extraordinary. People milling around in marketplaces, temples, other religious or historical sites are captured evocatively with Taskar’s attention to detail, his extraordinary way of showing light and shadow, and his colour palette, all of the elements coming together to offer a rich visual experience to the viewer.
