It is easy to experience zen-like moments when viewing Krishna Reddy’s remarkable prints which often radiate with a power and energy that no other printmaker could replicate. One of India’s leading printmakers, it is to Reddy’s credit that many subsequent generations following in his footsteps could evolve a language in the medium that is complex and finds its justifiable place next to paintings. In Woman and Her Parting Son, we are faced with Reddy’s artistic vision, becoming one with his journey as a printmaker.
