This Untitled work from the last decade of K. C. Pyne’s career shows how much he was willing to experiment in art. The artist, through fine control of the paint brush, gives a soft glow to the painting. A peculiar face with eyes that seem like musical notes and a nose area, the latter growing organically to resemble a hand holding glowing lights, engages us instantly. Patterns resembling musical ‘quaver’ notes are scattered around the area of the painting, drawing us to the harmony and rhythm of the work.
