K. C. Pyne dabbled in various genres with passion and energy to create the most imposing images of flora, fauna, human figures and landscapes. Often, Pyne’s work had an iota of the fantastic wherein he introduced magical elements. A similar mysticism is shown here—an owl-like animal with two pairs of eyes sitting on a branch of a tree. On its head rests, peculiarly, a fish, which in turn seems to have something in its mouth. Interestingly, the fish seems to have more control over the owl.
