This lovely landscape by Bishamber Khanna explores the Himalayas from a vantage point in which the looming mountains in the distance seem to overwhelm the ranges of tree-scarped foothills as they descend towards a valley. The hills with their terraced fields merge with the valley floor with its village homes and temple fenced away from a meadow in which horses can be seen grazing. A few figures can be seen on the track that runs through the settlement. The vista that sprawls in front of the viewer is like something glimpsed on a mountain drive.
