This unusual sculpture by S. K. Bakre consists of forms that have something fantastical about the manner in which they have been executed. One glance might suggest a certain hybrid bird-animal anthropomorphic form with plumes, seen with another creature, perched atop a metallic structure. Bakre uses jabbing, spiky forms to execute the work, making it even more intriguing. Is it a creature caught in the jaws or snares of another, or is it a mere mélange of intriguing shapes? That answer remains uncertain.
