Mausoleum of Sultan Purveiz, near Allahabad

The third tomb in the Khusrau Bagh, compositionally the most successful design, is not in fact, as the Daniells were told, the tomb of Sultan Parviz (Khusrau’s brother) but that of his sister Nithar Begam, who died in 1624.
