Bose Krishnamachari, both creator and curator—he is the founder of the Kochi-Muziris Biennale—charts a journey in abstraction and colour in his art. Named by his uncle after freedom fighter Subhash Chandra Bose, the artist, through his work, continues to bring in his own revolution in the world of contemporary art. Bose, fearless in speaking his mind on issues that affect him, approaches art with the belief that it is ‘not just about techniques, materials and mediums, but also… [the] philosophy you are interested in, your political beliefs, everything’.
