Prabhakar Kolte’s artistic journey has been shaped by his uncanny knack of absorbing the works of Western masters in a manner that allows him to evaluate their colours, textures, form and themes to thereby provide an expression in his own art. His artistic oeuvre is shaped by a single dominant colour that forms the background against which he creates forms that fascinate him—abstraction, geometrical, anything.
