Financial hardships taught B. Vithal early on to experiment in various mediums for his sculptures. Mostly working in the genre of sculptures, Vithal improvised his art and skills when faced with difficult situations to create a remarkable work through excellent draughtsmanship. Untitled (Horse) is a fine example of Vithal’s artistic oeuvre. The equine has been a muse to many Indian modern artists, for its movement, energy, and grace. All of these qualities Vithal brings out remarkably in this sculpture.
