Historian and heritage conservator Swapna Liddle joins us on 28 June 2025 for an illustrated talk on Imagination to Imprint: The art of picturing buildings from Mughal to Company Styles in the backdrop of our ongoing exhibition, A Treasury of Life: Indian Company Paintings c. 1790-1835. Swapna Liddle is an Indian historian, author, art curator and heritage conservator based in Delhi. She has been working to raise awareness about the city's historic neighbourhoods and buildings - through her writing, heritage walks, lectures, and mainstream social media. She has authored '14 Historic Walks of Delhi', 'Chandni Chowk: The Mughal City of Old Delhi' and 'Connaught Place and the Making of New Delhi'.
