Designer and poet Muzaffar Ali, writer Madhulika Liddle and Prof. Danish Iqbal in conversation with curator Rana Safvi on Taj in poetry and literature.

Muzaffar Ali is an Indian filmmaker, fashion designer, poet, artist, cultural revivalist, and social worker.

Madhulika Liddle is an Indian writer best known for her books about 17th-century Mughal detective Muzaffar Jang.

Rana Safvi is a historian, writer, scholar and translator committed to India’s rich cultural heritage and diverse civilizational legacy.

The Mute Eloquence of the Taj Mahal, curated by historian Rana Safvi, positions the Taj itself as a ‘speaking’—though ironically silent—agent through a comprehensive visual narrative, with works spanning from the late eighteenth to the mid-twentieth century.
