Presented in collaboration with Alipore Museum, Kolkata, People of Bengal: Coloured Etchings of Baltazard Solvyns, now travels to Kolkata following a successful showing in Delhi in 2021 and Mumbai in 2024. DAG brings to Kolkata for the first time the vast series of etchings, a rare body of work that focuses on Bengal and neighbouring regions by Baltazard Solvyns during the late eighteenth century.
