Kolkata PRINT: Walk and Drawing SessionAugust 23, 2024, Durbar Hall and premise of Victoria Memorial Hall A walk through the Durbar Hall at Victoria Memorial Hall to explore the prints of the Daniells, with the DAG Museums team, focusing on 18th and the 19th century visiting European Artists’ approach to landscape painting, followed by an open-air drawing session to employ and reflect upon the tools they used. This event is a part of Pulp-Paper-Print, a weekend programme where we take a closer look at the materials and tools in an artist’s studio, using them as clues to reveal new ways of interpreting and making art. |
