This is the interior of the eighth-century Sun temple at Deo, near Gaya in Bihar, showing the view towards the garbha griha, with light coming in from the open elevated porticos to the sides. Though architecturally correct in general form, the interior seems remarkably plain, as though the detail has been omitted.
