Tracing the formation of the West Bengal State Archives in postcolonial India through a documentary film by scholar Parnisha Sarkar, followed by a discussion with archivists Sarmistha De and Bidisha Chakraborty on the bureaucratic structures that shape the archives and the people who breathe life into them.

Registrations are closed. A Weekend in Museums returns for its second edition, travelling from rooftops to screening rooms, reimagining museums and archives as spaces of open access and interpretation, through films.
