Film researcher Abir Bhattacharya and scholar Mrinalini Vasudevan lead a visually rich journey through film archival collections and rare images, followed by a conversation with scholar and editor Samik Bandyopadhyay on the approaches to and challenges of resurrecting ‘lost’ films and forgotten personalities.

This event is presented in collaboration with the Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute (deemed to be University) and is part of DAG’s ongoing exhibition Light and Shadow: Satyajit Ray Through Nemai Ghosh’s Lens at the Alipore Museum.
