Please join us for an exhibition walkthrough of Princes & People of India: Portraits by Emily Eden with curator Mary Ann Prior as she revisits the visual and literary world of Emily Eden—writer, traveller, and artist—through drawings, archival material and historical narratives that reflect her observations of nineteenth-century India.

With an MA Degree in Cultural History from the Royal College of Art, London, Mary Ann Prior is currently Curatorial Adviser to the Bank of America (EMEA). She has also authored An Indian Portfolio: The Life and Work of Emily Eden (2012) and Constance Villiers Stuart: In Pursuit of Paradise (2022).
