A participatory mapping session exploring the emergence of Calcutta’s roads, alleys and paras, juxtaposing urban planning with lived experiences of the city, starting at the iconic Shyambazar More with geographer Keya Dasgupta and historian Partho Datta.

This event is part of the fifth edition of The City as a Museum, an annual festival that revisits the city’s iconic landmarks through alternative perspectives exploring how creative and conflictual usage over time shapes their identities.
