A talk by film scholar Moinak Biswas on the legacy of the Calcutta Film Society and its pioneering members, including Harisadhan Dasgupta, Chidananda Dasgupta, and Satyajit Ray.

This event is open to all and presented in collaboration with the Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute (deemed to be University) and is part of DAG’s ongoing exhibition Light and Shadow: Satyajit Ray Through Nemai Ghosh’s Lens at the Alipore Museum.
