Eric Bowen used various materials in innovative ways and in unusual juxtapositions. While his work is classified as visual art, it has some strong qualities to suggest its association with architecture and craftsmanship. It’s his relationship with space and mass, surface and colour, which allows the viewer to enjoy the architectural lines, evident in this work with an interesting title. The spatial distribution with lines and colours lets our gaze shift continuously, engaging us deeply with the work, letting us understand all the elements that come together.
