Please join us for an exhibition walkthrough of Bombay Framed: People, Memory, Metropolis on the opening day, 22 February, as curator Gyan Prakash explores this dynamism through the lens of art, architecture, cinema, communities and urban transformation.

Through a rich selection of artworks, archival material, photography and multimedia displays, the exhibition reconstructs Bombay’s journey — its port economy, industrialisation, cosmopolitan inhabitants and layered histories of migration that have defined its identity. It traces the constant motion of a metropolis shaped by migration, trade, industry and culture.
