A culinary journey exploring Bengal’s food culture with a talk by historian Jayanta Sengupta, followed by a conversation and tasting session with Sujoy Chatterjee, co-founder of Amar Khamar, and his team, drawing on Solvyns’ vivid  documentation of eighteenth century Calcutta.

Registrations open on 1st June. This event is a part of DAG’s exhibition ‘People of Bengal: Coloured Etchings by F. Baltazard Solvyns’ at the Alipore Museum, and presented in collaboration with the Department of Sociology, Presidency University.
