A Mosque at Juanpore

The Jami Masjid at Jaunpur was built in the mid-fifteenth century by the Sharqi dynasty. Like other mosques in the city, it is notable for the vast pylon that indicates the qibla, or direction of prayer, but almost entirely conceals the dome.
