The prominent photographic studio of Bourne and Shepherd produced an album of photographs of the durbar. It contained the usual scenes of the procession of elephants, the proclamation, the tented camps, and portraits of various dignitaries. It also contained this glimpse into life in a Delhi haveli.
This photograph from the album shows an audience gathered to watch ‘A Delhi Nautch’.
