An interactive session on the Tebhaga Women's Movement with Kavita Panjabi including original recorded oral narratives, songs, and accounts of the Mahila Atmaraksha Samiti & Mahila Samiti activists, in conversation with Mahasweta Ray.

The session will be set against the backdrop of ‘Adhi nai, tebhag chai’, an installation of artworks and archival objects on the Bengal Famine and the Tebhaga Movement in 1940s and early 50s Bengal from DAG’s own archives and other private and public collections.

Registrations for this event are closed. This event is part of the fourth edition of The City as a Museum, an annual festival that travels to various sites, repositories and neighbourhoods in Kolkata.
