Moving beyond the grand monuments, they captured the vibrant daily life of bazaars, havelis, and bustling ghats. The exhibition Destination India: Foreign Artists in India, 1857-1947, showcases these rich, intimate portrayals, offering a unique glimpse into a dynamic and evolving India through the eyes of artists such as William Simpson, Edwin Lord Weeks, and Hiroshi Yoshida, among others.
