An online opportunity for young researchers and early career professionals, from History, Art History, Cultural Studies and related fields, to develop research projects under the guidance of eminent academicians and scholars.
This programme aims to bring together researchers from different parts of the globe to build a shared space for knowledge-building and exchange outside of institutional spaces, creating public engagement around emerging areas of scholarship.
In the first edition, the participants were encouraged to engage in research, develop a curatorial framework, and select artworks that culminated in a virtual exhibition on Chittaprosad. In the second edition of the Curious Curatorium, participants are developing research projects on ‘Collections, Museums, and the Shaping of Indian Art History’, under the mentorship of Prof. Tapati Guha-Thakurta. The outcomes of the projects will be featured on DAG’s digital platforms.
Participants of the Curious Curatorium are selected through an open call when new editions are announced here and on DAG's online platforms.
