This work by Sohan Qadri represents multiple artistic and philosophical dualities. At the first look, an obvious contrast between the choice of colours dividing the work in the top and bottom halves presents itself. The two halves may be seen as showing the outward expression of thought and the depth of consciousness; they may also be viewed as a fusion of the body and the spirit with the omnipresent divine energy. Seeds of life are seen swimming from the void toward the womb waiting to be impregnated; in a simpler, purely visual interpretation, one may see a lone tree with its roots under the surface.
