F. N. Souza wrote that Qadri possessed ‘saintliness, aesthetics and wisdom’, and all of his works are living proof of this statement. Whether examined from a philosophical perspective, or from the point of aesthetic or colour theory, even when viewed by a tantric devotee who identifies yantras in Qadri’s works—the works lend themselves wonderfully to all these readings. The use of colour and geometry here represent the material body positioned as part of the cosmic order, enveloped by the void. The self is connected to the Absolute through the portal of dots around the central square.
