As the state entry procession wound its way around the city, people gathered in windows, balconies, and on rooftops to watch the spectacle. A notable feature of this scene, which shows a part of the procession traversing the long Chandni Chowk street, are the electricity poles. Electricity first came to Delhi with this durbar.
