Dr Bhau Daji Lad Museum and DAG invite you to the opening reception of Histories in the Making: Photographing Indian Monuments, 1855–1920, an exhibition that explores the rich collection of nineteenth-century photographs from the DAG collection. Curated by Dr. Sudeshna Guha, it draws attention to the connected histories of photography and field surveys of ancient India, to highlight the overlapping domains of colonialism, science and scholarship.
