Aranya Sengupta is a Kolkata–Santiniketan-based printmaker and book-artist holding a BFA and MFA in Graphic Art (Printmaking) from Kala Bhavana, Visva-Bharati, where he is currently pursuing a PhD in History of Art. His practice brings printmaking into public circulation through Artist's Books, zines, and graphic scrolls that engage directly with the book market and its consumers. He has exhibited at KNMA, Gallery Espace, and the 41st Daegu International Art Exhibition. He has developed five artist's books as part of the India Foundation for the Arts Grant, 2021-22. Aranya regularly publishes in journals like Harappa – Likhan Chitran, Haraphcharcha, and 1778: Granthacharcha.
