Untitled

For a work that is neither titled, nor dated, it is often difficult to understand the narrative that the artist is trying to share, especially if he has not left any clues about it. In this Untitled work for instance, an interesting story is definitely taking place given the animation with which an unclothed woman sitting atop a resting camel is swinging her arms in air. A figure in the foreground looks at her, while another on the other side of the camel raises a flagon to the performer. The sepia tone used by the artist, along with the imaginary story that we have woven, places the three figures in a desert.
