This riveting mélange of red and blue in an abstract composition points to the felicity over the visual grammar that Altaf had achieved early in his career. Though pure abstraction as a trope was something that the artist would not pursue devotedly later in his career, it was a genre that he seemed to have found a perfect vocabulary for early on.
