This work is a visual representation of division in a relationship. Two large black window-like sections dominate the white paper; within these windows two white figures are depicted, a man and a woman. In the upper half the couple faces each other, while in the lower half their feet are turned away—they are ready to walk away. The darkness of the black seems to be enveloping them, adding to the tension. The work explores complexities of human bonds and their fragility, examining the dichotomies and fractures that can emerge in relationships.
